Fishing remains very productive off Grand Haven. While a few fish are being taken in the river, there are numerous options offshore. In the river and in the near shore waters, kings and some cohoes are being taken mostly on glow, green or silver and orange plugs. If you prefer fishing outside the “combat zone” many options remain as active schools of kings and cohoes can be found out to 200 feet where some steelhead are showing up as well. White 11 inch fishscale paddles towing various flies have been very productive for us on riggers 35 to 60 down. Plugs in green glow and wonderbread patterns worked well on coppers from 50 to 225. Various Moonshine spoons were also productive.
