While last weekends strong winds have changed the scene, fishing remains excellent off Grand Haven. The secret seems to lie in finding the cool water. We found it in 120 to 140 feet of water north of the harbor. Our best action came on 11 inch white paddles towing blue, green or yellow flies on riggers set 85 to 100 feet down and on green glow Dreamweaver plugs on 300 and 400 coppers. A glow back Silver Streak green dolphin was also hot on riggers and coppers. Other boats reported good action on meat rigs as well. Expect a mixed bag of Coho and mature Kings.
