THE EDUCATED ANGLER Website
EducatedAngler.com (EA) was originally launched in September '04, and over the last 5 years has become the "go-to" site for serious big lake fishermen (and a strong contingent of walleye fishermen as well). The site features all the latest Great Lakes' fishery news, original articles, how-to's, recipes, webcams, weather reports, links, and fishing reports from ports across the Great Lakes. EA currently has over 1 million visitors a year, sponsors various events and seminars, and generally works to educate fishermen and advance the Great Lakes fishery.
In 2009, EA underwent a complete makeover and is now a "Facebook-style" social networking site for Great Lakes fishermen! With the launch of the all-new EA, they are raising the bar of Great Lakes fishing websites to new levels.

ASIAN CARP….where to find the latest info
Every other day I receive something about the Asian Carp. If you want more information on the
current situation, there are several websites to visit:
From our ‘parent’ organization—the Michigan Salmon and Steelheaders Association…..
Help stop the spread of Asian Carp into the Great Lakes.
Go to www.michigansteelheaders.org and follow the links.Be sure to also catch up on the News Articles for the latest information. Follow the links at the bottom of the page.
From the EducatedAngler…they have established a section on EducatedAngler.com where they are posting all the news articles on the Asian Carp situation. You'll see it on the Home page of the site. They have also created a special section of the Educated Angler forums where people can discuss the Asian Carp issue. Just click on Message Boards at the top of the Home page and it will take you to the forums. There is a link to the online Petition in that section as well.
